2019 Registration & Fees

Football Brisbane registration for players who have been offered a place opens on the 14th of January and all players are to register  via https://www.playfootball.com.au/

ALL REGISTRATION UPDATES WILL BE POSTED on our FACEBOOK page https://www.facebook.com/UQFCi.

All non-members must not register online until they have had attended our trial dates and or have been offered a position at UQFC.

U12-U16 players are required to be assigned a team and all players are to attend advertised trial dates in November or February.

For U6-U11 enquiries please contact uqfcminiroos@gmail.com and note important information below:

2019 IMPORTANT MINIROOS INFORMATION:

UQFC is currently at full capacity in the majority of our Miniroos U6 -U11 teams. Unfortunately this means that there will be extremely limited opportunity for any new players to join the club in the 2019.
It is strongly recommended that you DO NOT sign on and pay online unless you have been offered a place in a team by our MiniRoos Administrator.
Should you wish to be placed on the 2019 Waitlist please email Miniroos Administrator directly at uqfcminiroos@gmail.com advising the player’s name and year of birth. Available places in age groups will be offered according to your spot on the waitlist.

I am new to UQFC this year AND have been allocated a position at UQFC:

Please ensure you bring proof of age along with your printed invoice for your child so we can sight at one of our registration days.

U6-U11 players will be placed into teams depending on what school they attend or if they have friends at the club, this information will be collated at our sign on days.

For U6-U11 enquiries please contact uqfcminiroos@gmail.com.

JUNIOR SIGN ON:

UQFC will be hosting the following information days for junior players to complete their registration as well as collect training kit, if required, for the season ahead: February 2nd 2019 9am – 2pm

Venue: UQFC – Kenmore Clubhouse, Cubberla Creek Reserve

145 Fig Tree Pocket Road Chapel Hill, Qld 4069

Season 2019 – IMPORTANT INFORMATION BELOW:

Online Payments

Registration and payment online is mandatory through www.playfootballclub.com.au . If you are a returning UQFC player, you are encouraged to complete your registration process by making your payment online (subject to applicable credit card surcharges). If you are a new player to UQFC you can still pay online but will need to attend the Sign On day and bring with you ‘proof of age’ documents.

For those eligible and wishing to claim family discounts, the new Play Football Registration system allows this option and players will be made active once the details of each registered family member are confirmed by the club.  Payments in cash or debit/credit card can be made through special arrangement.

Have you uploaded a photo into your MyFootball account?

We require all members to upload a passport style photograph into their MyFootball account to allow registration to be complete.

Training Equipment (junior members only):

Training kit will not be included in our junior members packs and obtaining new training kit is optional for returning players to purchase. However, new players to UQFC in 2019 will be required to purchase a full training kit as part of their registration terms & conditions.

All registered players will receive a new pair of playing socks as part of their registration and will be handed out to them through the Team Managers.

Multiple players from a single family (junior members only):

Families with multiple children playing at UQFC will receive discount off their third member’s set of fees ($75) and $50 for every sibling thereafter (does not include SAP players).

I am playing up an age group but I can not find the fee package online?

For boys and girls playing up one age group the myfootballclub system has been amended this year to allow you to register online in generalised age groups (ie U12-U15 Divisional Girls or U7-U11 Miniroos Boys) However, a PA-01 form will still be required to be completed and handed to your Team Manager prior to the playing of any games.

The PAO1 form is available here PA_01

Please note however that NO player will be eligible to play up an age group without the PRIOR APPROVAL of our Director of Football.

Where does my money go?

A common question and one that is important for our members to understand. Registration fees paid by players are made up of the following but not limited to:

    • Football Federation Australia (FFA) fees (per player)
    • Football Queensland fees (per player)
    • Football Brisbane fees (per player)
    • Insurance (per player)
    • Referee fees
    • Field maintenance
    • Hiring & leasing of training fields
    • Coaching fees (NPL, SYL & Divisional)
    • Full time staff (Admin, DoF, SYL & Divisional)
    • Utilities
    • Training Equipment
    • Field Electricity, Leases & Water
    • Playing Kit

Why is my fee different to others who are the same age?

Fees are higher for certain age groups and in particular BYPL & Division 1 players for various reasons:

    • BYPL & Division 1 teams train twice a week, requiring larger field spaces than MiniRoos and other junior’s, therefore incurring higher facility and overhead costs over the course of the season
    • BYPL & Division 1 teams incur higher referees fees than other juniors.
    • BYPL & Division 1 teams have paid coaches.

Player fees include a compulsory club membership (as constituted) and it is important you select the correct fee package to complete your registration and the system will only players to register in their year of birth, not the team/division they wish to play in.

For players under the age of 18 years old, a membership will be issued in the name of their legal guardian as identified in My Football Club.
