Senior Premier Football at UQFC

UQFC is one of only 12 Brisbane Club’s selected to play in the top tier Brisbane Premier League (BPL) and Premier League reserve competition administered by Football Brisbane (FB)

Senior BPL football at UQFC is played by the Men’s and Women’s Premier (First team) and Reserves with all home games taking place on UQ campus, St Lucia. Main field is located at field 3.

When do we play and train?

Premier BPL and Reserves Football can be played on either Friday evening or Saturdays or Sundays depending on FB scheduling, with a home (St Lucia) and away ground format. Training is held twice a week on midweek evenings.

How are teams selected?

UQFC will announce trial dates for BPL and Reserve levels traditionally in November each year, with a highly experienced coaching staff selecting squads for the subsequent season.

Who coaches Senior BPL?

Men’s BPL Head Coach is Duncan Tranent.

Women’s BPL Head Coach is Bill Williams and Women’s Reserve Coach is Gianni Morosini.
