University of Queensland Football Club (UQFC) is a community based, amateur football (soccer) club, incorporated not for profit organisation owned and operated by its members. With over 1500 players, a database of over 5000 and growing social media audience UQFC is one of the largest amateur sporting Club’s in Queensland.

The growth of the club over the past few years from 350 juniors to present day numbers of 1100 juniors and 350 senior players spread over 100 teams is nothing short of staggering, with potential further growth forecasted.

UQFC grounds are ideally located at the University of Queensland (UQ) St Lucia Campus and Cubberla Creek,Kenmore in the prime Western suburbs of Brisbane.

Dr Christian Rowan

Dr Christian Rowan is the State Member for Moggill in the Queensland Parliament. He has deep roots in the community, having grown up in Chapel Hill and Kenmore and currently living with his family in Pullenvale. He is passionate about development of sound, evidence-based policy for the electoral Moggill and for Queensland. He believes in fostering the education system, understands the importance of financial stability and access to healthcare, and works within the community collaboratively to ensure enhanced infrastructure and delivery of vital services are met.
